| Consistently, Canadians have identified long wait times as the number one barrier in accessing health services. In response to this public concern, the First Ministers made wait times central to their agreement on health care in September 2004. We prepared this backgrounder to help Canadians digest events around benchmarks. We offer an objective and factual account of current activity. |
